Project summary:

This study examined fossils from late Quaternary deposits from two sites in the Warra area: Blakes Opening and the middle Huon Valley. Changes in the amount of Huon pine (Lagarostrobos franklinii) closed forest during the middle of the last glacial were interpreted as being due to a long-term change in the flood regime of the Huon River.
